Growing up in a small town in South Georgia, he thought he had everything in life figured out until he reached the age of 16 and felt nothing but void and emptiness in life. Growing up in church, doing well in school, receiving numerous awards and accolades did not satisfy. There was still an emptiness that only Jesus could fill. At the age of 17 after being told about Jesus and presented the reality of eternity in either heaven or hell, Alvin gave his life to Jesus Christ and soon after, moved to Athens, GA to attend the University of Georgia, where he then served Jesus Christ in his mother church Athens Victory Chapel faithfully.
Pastor Alvin has been saved and born again now for 16 years, and now continues to labor reaching souls as he answers the call of God to preach the gospel.

Lupita, was born in Mexico and moved to Georgia at a very young age. She was brought up in a catholic home with catholic beliefs, but she still wondered with questions about what faith really is. Everything she tried failed. She tried parties, alcohol, keeping up with appearance, peer pressure in school and searching for love in the wrong places. As she grew up she battled with bitterness, depression, suicidal thoughts all while she dove into false doctrine and new age beliefs. At the age of 21 she attented college and a failed relationship drove her into a spiraling depression where she wouldn’t eat or sleep, she never felt more empty and unable cope with what was happening in her life. So in the darkness and solitude of her bedroom she asked God to help her if He was real.
God answered her prayer and shortly after that it was at her job that she’d be invited to an outreach event at Athens Victory Chapel for the first time. Lupita got saved time after that in 2013 and has been saved and serving in the mother church for 10 years.

Alvin and Lupita have been married now for 8 years and have 3 sons. They are excited for what God is going to do in the city of New Port Richey.
